  • Identity & Contact Data: Your full name, email address, phone number, billing address, and delivery shipping address provided during registration or checkout, including the addresses you save in your account, which our store team can see.
  • Transaction & Order History: Records of products purchased, order dates, payment totals, delivery tracking codes, and fulfillment history.
  • Payment Information: Necessary billing details to process payments. All transactions are securely handled by certified, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways; we never store your full credit card number or CVV codes on our servers.
  • Technical & Usage Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system platform, device type, time zone setting, and analytical data regarding your browsing patterns across our site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information strictly for legitimate business and contractual purposes, including:

  • Fulfilling, processing, packing, and dispatching your orders.
  • Sending real-time order confirmations, status alerts, dispatch notices, and customer care communications.
  • Safeguarding our platform against fraudulent transactions, cyber threats, and unauthorized access.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use session and persistent cookies, web beacons, and analytical tags to remember your shopping cart contents, maintain your selected currency and language preferences, measure visitor traffic, and evaluate campaign effectiveness. You may manage, block, or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings, though doing so may limit certain interactive features of our store.

To understand which of our marketing reaches customers, we keep a first-party cookie (storehugs_touchpoints) for up to 30 days that records how you arrived at our store on each visit, such as a campaign link, a search engine, social media or another website. It holds only the channel, source, medium and campaign name, never your name, contact details or browsing history, and is attached to your order when you check out. It is not shared with third parties.

If we advertise with Meta (Facebook and Instagram), we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure our ads: the pages you view, products you add to your cart, checkouts and purchases, sent together with your IP address, browser, Meta's cookies (_fbp, _fbc) and, when you check out or have an account, your email, phone number, name and address in an irreversibly hashed form. If we advertise with Snapchat, we use the Snap Pixel and Snapchat's Conversions API the same way, with Snapchat's cookie (_scid) and the Snapchat ad click ID, and if we advertise with TikTok, the TikTok Pixel and TikTok's Events API, with TikTok's cookie (_ttp) and the TikTok ad click ID. This happens only after you accept cookies. Until then, Google Analytics only receives anonymous, cookieless measurements. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie preferences.

5. Sharing Your Information with Third Parties

We will never sell, rent, trade, or lease your personal information to third parties for commercial marketing purposes. We only share necessary data with trusted operational partners under strict contractual confidentiality agreements, including:

  • Logistics & Courier Services: To physically transport and deliver your purchases to your shipping address.
  • Advertising Partners: Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), Snap Inc. (Snapchat) and TikTok, to measure and improve our ads, as described in section 4.
  • Cloud & Security Providers: Trusted hosting, database management, and cybersecurity providers ensuring maximum uptime and data integrity.
  • Legal Compliance: When required by lawful court subpoenas, regulatory warrants, or law enforcement inquiries.

We implement robust technical, organizational, and physical safeguards, including SSL/TLS encryption, firewall architectures, and restricted personnel access, to protect your personal data against accidental loss, unauthorized access, misuse, or alteration.
